In many rural areas, young people migrate to urban centers in search of work, often leaving behind elderly parents. Many of these elders live alone in remote huts, struggling with chronic health conditions, limited mobility, and lack of support. Sourcing fresh groceries and cooking three meals a day becomes an impossible hurdle.
Pure Village Cooking launched the weekly "Elderly Food Delivery" drive to bridge this nutritional gap. Every weekend, our cooking volunteers prepare soft, low-spice, traditional village meals tailored for senior health. Instead of serving them in central locations, our mobile volunteers pack the meals in reusable containers and deliver them directly to the doorsteps of homebound grandparents living alone in scattered hamlets.
